I start a new thread since my last problem
has not been resolved yet. But I am at a loss, and since I know many smart
minds live in here I thought I could ask you. J (sorry if it is a
little off-topic ..) All my transports work fine when accessed
from a local account on jabber.no but gmail users and such cannot list the
transports. I tried to list transports on jabber.dk and others from my google
account and they work fine, just not jabber.no I think all the srv records are correct, at
least to the best of my knowledge. Please check if you like, here is the
basics: _xmpp-client._tcp.jabber.no has SRV record
10 0 5222 jabber.no. _xmpp-server._tcp.jabber.no has SRV record
10 0 5222 jabber.no. _jabber._tcp.jabber.no has SRV record 10 0
5222 jabber.no. jabber.no has address 195.159.148.248 conference.jabber.no is an alias for
gonzo.barmen.nu. gonzo.barmen.nu has address 195.159.148.248 Ok, and furthermore I have done some
firewall logging. I can find that when I do a service discovery from a google
account I get a request from the google server to the 5269 port on my server,
this gets a syn ack back, so my server answers something back to google but
nothing is in the logs of ejabberd. I am now thinking maybe tls or acls is the
problem but I am not sure. The strangest of all is that I registered
an account on jabber.ru and on jabber.org, these accounts could do service
disco on jabber.no. What the f ?? Is there a google problem I am not sure of?
Jabber.dk runs ejabberd too, though I think 1.1.1 and I run 1.1.2. So far I haven’t
gotten much out of the ejabberd guys, maybe you have some tips? Have a nice weekend! J -stian |
