Are you saying that from your friends server you cannot browse my
transports? And still no errors?
Correct, it just seems to wait forever, and never generates a failure.
He's on dynamic IP ADSL connection with dynamic dns, so IP address
changes every 24-hours.
Is there other connectivity problems from your friends server?
His to mine is fine
His to works waits a long time - then fails
His to gmail fails with error
