Norman, I am running a cluster of ejabberd nodes and am testing how to also cluster the transports. As a user session is only valid within one instance of the transport (compjid), it seems there should be a front end to all the transports that assures that all messages from one jid go always to the same instance (compjid) of the transport. It seems that ejabberd does not handle the compjid, but this part I will have to discuss in the ejabberd list. Additionally, that front end could do the load balancing. I am pretty sure not to be the first person to have that problem, so I was looking for someone who could indicate me how they do it. Thanks in advance. Roland

BTW: Your question sounds like it would be better answered by the ejabberd list than the Py-Transports list. -- - Norman Rasmussen - Email: [EMAIL PROTECTED] - Home page: http://norman.rasmussen.co.za/ -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
