I have always used python 2.6 and py2exe just fine together. The only issue I have ever ran into is running a created .EXE on a windows system that has NEVER had python installed previously, it acts as if there is no python installed, however on a system that has had python installed, and the un-installed, it works, this might be due to the setup.py though
Also I have not seen any reason "technically" to use 2.5 over 2.6, more or less the main testing is done on 2.5 therefore suggests it. -Thadeus On Thu, Mar 25, 2010 at 7:46 PM, Jordan - Necessary Games <jor...@necessarygames.com> wrote: > I'm a newbie here, but I've been using Python 2.6 + Pygame 1.9, and things > seem to be working fine.
