I had the same problem with "pulse" driver but it works fine with "openal". There's a bug report: http://code.google.com/p/pyglet/issues/detail?id=651 It's not always an AVbin problem, sometimes is the pyglet driver (or in this case I think pulseaudio is to blame a little bit too because I can't reproduce these samples with totem!).
