Pyglet deserves love and more attention since its is a cool project (Cocos2D for example started from it), so I agree. If you want help make a Github rep and list of tasks and people commit stuff. A page were people could submit the source of games, or snippets (with the option for someone flag as dangerous or rate), (Flask and Web2py have a page for that in their website for example) could also be cool, since Pygle has a lot of cool stuff scattered (libraries for GUIs, Rabbit library for faster sprites, effects, etc.) but not a central point were a community could find that stuff (for example, I can't find anymore in google the website of the nice Rabbit library). I am a web developer in my day to day, can help in that stuff (but don't know if we have hosting with Python support - hate php, don't work with it in ages).
The old website was cool, one could also recycle it and add stuff if anyone has the code.
