Thanks Greg for those info. I've started to work on this but I'm a bit 
swamped at the moment so I'm not making much progress.

@Benjamin: thanks for the bug report! I didn't look into it too deeply yet. 
But it does not sound like the context is not yet initialised, but that 
there was no strong reference to the context and it's been garbage 
collected. That's at least my initial thought. I need obviously to dig into 
it.

I have a Ubuntu on a portable drive, so I'll use that to investigate.

Don't expect much progress in the following days, but I'm not giving up. :)
