Very nice.

This seems much better than my own recent work... I think it's a mistake to
start with "appengine-homedir"... better to just start from stock Pylons and
hack it till it works on GAE. That's been my discovery over the last few
days, but I haven't patched my Pylons Wiki article yet.

I'll give you more detailed/useful feedback as soon as I can.
