I do appreciate having a document at the end of a process documenting the decisions made. I particularly appreciate knowing why some ideas *weren't* implemented, if only as a way to deflect endless re-discussion later. But I personally have no desire to participate in or moderate a formalized PEP process right now. I'd rather continue to reach rough consensus via the maillist and IRC until we reach a point where the community of contributors is large and diverse enough that we can't avoid formalizing. Most requests for a formalized process stem from some specific fear that can almost always be solved better without more process. Is there any way we could address this specific fear without adding process? - C -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "pylons-discuss" group.
