Some of suggestions are quite good (for example removing Qstrings),
but I don't like boost.python integrating. I think pyqt must be
independent from side libraries/tools like that.
Sorry, but you misunderstood. I did not proposed Boost.Python integration with PyQt. That source code you saw is another bindings of Qt4.
I am trying to use the ideas of that bindings in PyQt4.
