Important: as announced in
http://lists.maemo.org/pipermail/maemo-developers/2010-March/025512.html,
extras-devel is currently building packages for the PR 1.2 SDK.
Unfortunately this new release comes with incompatible ABI changes
that prevent the packages built on it from working on previous Maemo 5
releases.

Given that the PR 1.2 firmware image for the N900 was not released
yet, you will only be able to use this new PySide release on the Maemo
SDK (scratchbox).

We therefore ask you to try this new release (either on the desktop or
on Scratchbox) and report any problems you find.

Instructions for stalling Scratchbox and setting up the SDK UI
environment can be found in:

http://wiki.maemo.org/Documentation/Maemo_5_Final_SDK_Installation
