Specifically, after installing generatorrunner and apiextractor, I try
to build shiboken:

$ make
[  5%] Built target shiboken_generator
[  6%] Built target shiboken
[ 10%] Built target libshiboken
[ 38%] Built target libsample
[ 40%] Built target libother
[ 41%] Running generator for test binding...
/usr/local/bin/generatorrunner: error while loading shared libraries:
libgenrunner.so.0.4.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or
directory
make[2]: *** [tests/samplebinding/sample/abstractmodifications_wrapper.cpp]
Error 127
make[1]: *** [tests/samplebinding/CMakeFiles/sample.dir/all] Error 2
make: *** [all] Error 2

libgenrunner.so.0.4.1 is definitely present in /usr/local/lib/, which
is included by default in /etc/ld.so.conf on ubuntu lucid.
