Jeffrey Yasskin added the comment: Whoops, sorry for taking a while to answer. +0 on adding support for '2.' and '.3', given that they're allowed for float and Decimal. Not +1 because they'll make the regular expression more complicated, and they're not exactly necessary, but if you want to add them, go ahead.
