Malte Helmert added the comment: I was wrong -- 0.1 isn't enough, because os.times() typically has 0.01s resolution, so we can easily get 0.1 vs. 0.11 which will fail the assertion. Cranked up the WAIT_TIME to 0.3 in the attached patch (test_posix3.PATCH). Sorry for the noise.
