We were explicitly comparing lisp with haskell and ocaml. Adding features built into haskell and ocaml but not present in ANSI common lisp would therefore constitute imitating haskell and ocaml in the context of this discussion. Surely you don't think I'm unaware of the fact that haskell and ocaml weren't the first languages to use some form of pattern matching.
