Concerning this particular issue, not everyone would agree that the doc sections in question are misplaced. In Python the distinction between builtin and library types is fairly blurry. There are advantages to having them all documented in one place -- when looking for info about a type, you don't have to try to guess whether it's considered built-in or not to know which manual to look in. -- Greg -- http://mail.python.org/mailman/listinfo/python-list
