You can use a "PyCObject_FromVoidPtr"

PyArg_ParseTuple(args, "O", &pyVoidPointer);
castPointer = (type *) PyCObject_AsVoidPtr(pyVoidPointer);
return PyCObject_FromVoidPtr((void *) castPointer, NULL);
