Well, bearing in mind that everybody seems to have an agenda, so you can't (or shouldn't, anyway) take all your news from a single source, it may be that the common wisdom about the QWERTY thing is incorrect: http://reason.com/archives/1996/06/01/typing-errors I have to confess that I haven't done any real deep research on the subject, but yet again, we find there is more than one side to a story.
