Editors: Scribes, vim, gVim, Emacs, Gedit, Joe, Kate, Leafpad, Mousepad, Nano IDE's: Eric, Geany, ActiveState, Anjuta, Bluefish, Code::Blocks, CodeDragon/ wxStudio, WingIDE I suggest you to try around and find the editor/IDE that fits your needs.
