MSAA was superseded by Microsoft UI Automation in 2005 which in turn was superseded by Windows Automation API in Windows 7. http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd561932(v=vs.85).aspx Making Tk as accessible as Windows or GTK+ would be a huge job.
