I suspect you will need to upgrade to Jessie for this to work, the version in wheezy looks like it is based on Python2.6 Here is a instructions I found, not tried it myself though, and I can't see a date on the article: http://linuxconfig.org/raspbian-gnu-linux-upgrade-from-wheezy-to-raspbian-jessie-8
