Could you also please try "wscript.exe win32com\test\testInterp.vbs" -
this is a trivial vbscript test that loads the Python.Interpreter COM
object and attempts to use it. This works fine for me on every
configuration I have tried including a very clean Windows 7 VM.
If that works for you, then we have a different problem related to your
COM objects. If that doesn't work for you, then I will be quite confused :)
