im actually creating a tool which creates effects around the footprints
this includes a build up of geometry from the ground plane around the object
like mud build up
so the object which will be given will be the users object or character etc
so im not going to know the exact vertex i wanted to use code to connect the
locator to its lowest point or closest point to the ground plane.

yeah im trying to find out without the user imputting how deep the print is.


the build up is going to be defined by the print, i dont think i will need
to know how deep it is, by using your world space code, i can find out at
what time how deep through the plane it is and keep it updating the build
up.
