so I was trying the python plugin footPrint.py.

it is supposed to be visible with geometry right? so if you put it inside a 
polycube you should see the foot print.
I don´t get that result. Is there any maya plugin that should be checked to 
get the geometry override? the file is given by autodesk so it should be 
working.
any bugs in maya 2016? I´ve read in this forum that people advise to use 
c++ directly for opengl locator. is it because the python version is buggy 
or slower?
