Has there been any discussion in the past about having MacPython also having the /Library/Python/2.5/site-packages on the default sys.path like Apple's Python does? If so, were there specific reasons for not doing it? At first blush it would certainly make it easier for package authors who want to support both ApplePython and MacPython.
