Got it to work after installing python2.7 and building numpy, scipy and matplotlib from the source to run in 64 bit mode. Thanks for the suggestion! As an aside, it's a real pain in the arse to install all that from source....see http://blog.hyperjeff.net/?p=160 for specific instructions -Mike
