I like the idea of having a pool of predefined routes I can just pick one out of. (Doing same routes is a common usecase). Ideas: such routes should also be - derivable from existing gpx tracks - definabale just by specifying its length (and a title), without any maps I agree that in the end distance & duration are the most important pieces of information. But I don't agree on your conclusion that they are always the most relevant parts of input. Imagine no gps device, running new or unknown course (e.g. en vacances ;) get exact duration (wristwatch) say 73:20 min and estimate pace by experience to something 5:00-5:20, so take average 5:10 min/km. Plz don't let the user divide 73.33 by 5.167 on her own to get the distance ;) Regards Arnd ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ RSA(R) Conference 2012 Save $700 by Nov 18 Register now http://p.sf.net/sfu/rsa-sfdev2dev1 _______________________________________________ Pytrainer-devel mailing list Pytrainer-devel@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/pytrainer-devel
