I would set priority on getting rid of all glade/gtk+ stuff. Regarding
database, I see no issue (or at least no bottleneck) right now.

I don't see any issue with python so far and moving to another
programming language will force us to name the application in a
different way :p

Arnd proposed the local web server and it would be great to hear
(read) what others have to say (write) on this topic.

Hopefully I can have a look on Nathan's git repository this weekend as
I think it helps us to move forward easier.
