Ciao Giuseppe! I wrote some "new volunteer orientation modules" to help new volunteers, like yourself, learn about Apache. I encourage you to review them here: http://openoffice.apache.org/orientation/index.html Of course, if you are interested in QA, pay special attention to that module. But the others give good background info on Apache projects and how we work. I'm encouraging new QA volunteers, once they have completed the orientation, to start by helping us review and confirm existing defect reports from users. We have a large backlog of such reports to review. So when you have a Bugzilla account, send me your user-id and I can then give you some initial reports to review. Also let me know what operating system you are using, so I send you appropriate reports. Thanks and Regards! -Rob > Best > Giuseppe Caselli
