Have a look at the code example here: https://doc.qt.io/qbs/qml-qbslanguageitems-artifact.html If you use the outputArtifacts property of the Rule item instead, it should work very similar: outputArtifacts: [{filePath: "myfile.cpp", fileTags: ["cpp"], cpp: { someFlag: "value" }}]
