Firmware Linux has a sparc target. http://landley.net/code/firmware Go "./build.sh sparc" and then look at run-sparc.sh in the build directory. There's a bug I haven't bothered to track down (possibly in uClibc) that prevents the console from initializing properly, but if you boot with init=/tools/bin/hello-dynamic you get a "hello world" message. (I haven't tracked down why the shell hangs yet.) Rob -- "One of my most productive days was throwing away 1000 lines of code." - Ken Thompson.
