Hello, I think there might be a mistake in the 2.4 changelog: http://wiki.qemu.org/ChangeLog/2.4 "Support for system management mode (requires Linux 4.1)."
But I believe it's included in Linux v4.2 see https://lwn.net/Articles/648995/ for the merge window. Sorry for the noise if it is not the right way to report a wiki/changelog mistake. Best regards, -- William
