Patches have to go via the mailing list, not some bug tracker. That's policy here just like in many other projects. Also, I didn't say I hate bug trackers in general, just this one as does not file my replies when posted via email. Do I have to be subscribed somewhere? Anyway, does the patch [1] work for you as well? Some feedback like a "Tested-by" tag would be nice.
