(follow-up) I purged my configuration files for qemu (and libvirtd) and reinstalled the whole thing. When I try to run qemu without any option whatsoever: phy0:~$ qemu-system-x86_64 qemu-system-x86_64: qemu_mprotect__osdep: mprotect failed: Permission denied qemu-system-x86_64: mprotect of jit buffer: Permission denied I don't know what should I do about that. I've no idea where the error comes from. phy0:~# qemu-system-x86_64 -version QEMU emulator version 9.0.2 Thanks for your help
