I'm pretty sure that if QGIS 2.0 will be out soon, it never will be used in production, due to critical bugs (we will wait at least for 2.0.1 or 2.0.2). The only problem is that we use Windows at work and compiling all things is pain, OSGEO4W doesn't release debug libraries ...
