FYI, I have been trying to contact him also.

Another option I'm trying is to contact the Brazilian user group, asking if
they know if he is still active in the foss/qgis universe. They are active on
channels I'm not :-) Maybe others can ask there?

Else: I'd second the idea of a debugvs2 plugin

Hi everyone,

I agree with Nagase's suggestion. As a maintainer of the Plugins Repository, I
would not advise transferring ownership unless the current owner has confirmed
it.

Hi ilan, Valentin and Plugin Repository Maintainers,

I am the author of the PR (https://github.com/lmotta/debug_vs_plugin/pull/18
<https://github.com/lmotta/debug_vs_plugin/pull/18>),
and I appreciate you raising this issue.

Personally, I suggest creating a new plugin - such as "debugvs2"
<https://plugins.qgis.org/plugins/debug_vs2/>),
rather than transferring ownership of the plugin.
Because I feel changing the ownership of an existing plugin without
the current owner's confirmation is a bit risky as FOSS spirits.

But I want to confirm the Plugin Repository Maintainers' opinion.

    Best regards,
    Nagase
