Hello,

I have a question about the automatic closure of PRs. Tim Sutton answered me aleady on this topic a while ago, saying that I *"will be relying on the good will of a developer who may or may not have time to review your PR when I cannot pay a reviewer to review my PR's"*,
and that
*"I may need to be gently persistent and patient, along with a little social engineering to get my PR reviewed and merged."*

I understand that, but I wonder what the arguments are for having a bot close PRs automatically at all on an open source project where reviewer's time is a scarce ressource?

Is this to incentivize people to make "perfect PRs"?
I would like to argue that it would be better to only close a PR manually, because something about it's content is not good. With automatic closing, I will have to ask for reopening, creating unnecessary work for the person doing it and cluttering the email list. I do not understand why there needs to be this time pressure to review. Why does it necessarily need to happen within a short period of time?

Could I open an issue about this?

mit freundlichen Grüßen,
Moritz Hackenberg
