One thing for sure, SMSQ/E HDD code needs to be scrapped and redone from
scratch. Based on Thierry's work (no use of reinventing the wheel) although
not for writing but for implementation purposes, we should either make some
other fs standard (at least for Q40/60)s - Since by itself its incompatible
ANYWAY- or change it so it is more usable... Richard?

How about ext2fs (allthough I am not particularly fond of it... I prefer
FreeBSD and not Linux myself) for example?

I do also believe that we've been running around in circles in this issue
for quite a long time now... it's better we do something instead of waiting
for TT to do something....

So... once more how about that OpenSMS again? (In C....?)
