Yes, his work on getting reference parameter passing to work in v4b21 and 4c21 is an important step. And the work he's put into making it possible to have configuration, assembler files linked to the program and even the TurboPTR system for writing PE software is real progress.
There is some good ground work going on which is all promising for software development. Programs like QDT, QWord and DMiner (to mention only a few) show us that great things are possible with the right mindset.
