Possibly - the line in the program is:

3730 source$=DIR_SELECT$('IDENTIFY DIRECTORY CONTAINING THE HELP
FILE',20,prog_x,prog_y,colourway,colourway,source$)

What has changed here??

No I don't supply it, as this was the only line which needed it - if you
have configured the program correctly, it does not bother to use
DIR_SELECT$

Test on the line before is
3720   ch=FOP_IN(source$):IF ch>=0:EXIT READ_INDEX%

so if the program is configured correctly - ie the program is extracted to
WIN1_BASIC_ using the supplied Boot file, then there should be no problems.

I wonder if David has extracted the files to WIN1_BASIC_HELP_ rather than
WIN1_BASIC_ ?? David, if you look inside WIN1_BASIC_HELP_ is there
another HELP_ sub-directory - if so, that is the problem !!

The Manual says to install everything to WIN1_BASIC_ and then configure
the program which should be WIN1_BASIC_QHELP_OBJ to look in
WIN1_BASIC_HELP_ for its files.
