Not a miracle. A writer of code will certainly usually know what it does. But he may well not know ALL that it does. There is a fault in SMSQ/E that can produce very weird results, which Tony Tebby obviously did not intend and did not know were possible. I mentioned this some time ago. They were to do with the result of an address error in assembler code.
