I only became a QL user a year ago. To run a lot of software you will
need Toolkit 2. This comes with some interfaces e.g. Trumpcard, but
gold card (or Super gold card) is better. A gold card gives you a
faster cpu, 2MB of ram, the ability to use HD floppies, sub
directories, Toolkit 2 and other features. I have seen traders selling
it for as little as 30 UK pounds.
