After a quick check... Nope!
With SMSQ/E 2a97 and new QPC Turbo still produces the same error.
Quick facts:
Tested QL colours/Hi Colour in all res. up to 800x600 windowed or non windowed.
Memory tested from 1 Mb > 64 Mbytes.
The only thing I did not test is to run it from FLP1_ since my WIN is > 512
Mbytes
I wonder if the combination is what breaks it? Maybe if I could try QPC.EXE
