It looks as if the roots lie in partial save areas as defined in the QPTR toolkit but who defined the file and fixed the heading of 0x4AFC ?
Is this not a case for a definitive write up in mags and/or on web sites? Or is there an article hidden away in back issues? Christopher Cave
