Well my rock stories are probably nowhere near Roy's... we were most of the
time by "association" due to our then record label, which linked to some of
these guys :-) during press release parties etc..
We were good lads actually and aside from a little drinking (and a lot of
girls :-D) we weren't nearly as excessive...

I do remember the first time Mötorhead came to Greece ahahahaa (Lemmy
Kilminster is one hell of a nut job) we had some (hmmm a lot) of drinks
with him (mind you we were young at the time so we really couldn't keep
up...) but nonetheless we were most of the time their fans really instead
of regarding ourselves as "fellow" musicians... (Greece IS a very small
country and doesn't account for more than a *blip* on the English-speaking
rock scene)...

And I really regret not being able to meet Siouxsie Sioux (Big fan)..... :-(

I for one would like to hear more stories about Nick Pynn (that's the
correct spelling I think)... I bought a couple of cds a while back from
Roy... man this guy can play ANYTHING (I may be hard rock but I don't mind
some folk as well.. especially his kind )

He he, actually it would be so much easier to visit the UK than actually
get to a North American QL show in the summer...
especially now with the EasyJet specials... It costs less to visit the UK
from Greece than it is to pay for my phone bill here !!!
(Athens-Gatwick round trip less than 100 US$!)

And well if everything goes well, my PhD will be in the Institute for
Computer Science in Crete, Greece and that will mean the end of my stay in
the US (hopefully... I do hate the cold you know :-)
