Sometimes it's easier to learn by comparing the same general topic between computer systems. I started learning Windowing by reading on Perl/TK and comparing it with the Pointer Interface. It helps a little bit, but the data constructs and terms are very different. I've also tried understanding the QDOS kernel my learning the Unix kernel. Tim Swenson
