Hi Dennis,

as far as I know from the bumff supplied with my camera (a pdf file - if you
want a copy let me know) the docking station on the DCxxx series is
standard. Each different model has a different insert (clearly marked 'do
not throw away') so that when/if you buy a new model from the range, you
only have to buy a new insert. Thus the docking station remains the same,
and the cameras can differ.

I presume that as the models get better and better, new features of the DS
will be required, so a new DS will be announced :o)

Cheers,
Norman.

Thanks for the input Norman. This Kodak 'docking station' is the
problem some have serial some have USB and I think some have both?
Everyone has a different opinion of just what a 'docking station'
consists of and that includes the usual retailers. Here's a question,
open to all - do _all_ Kodak cameras fit any kodak docking station
regardless of the final connection (serial/USB)? When I ask this in a
shop they say "Don't know".
