The only reference I know was in FPUFN's README file "Past issues of Quanta have included routines to convert between Qdos and IEEE formats, as some Qdos compilers already use the IEEE format." (file apparently dated April 1997). Am just curious whether those routines would exhibit the same problem (or how they avoid it). Anyway, thanks for looking. Marcel
