Thanks very much for the reply and offer(?)
I'd be really glad to return to QLing albeit onna XP machine.
I will be delighted to return to the wrangling necessary to get a DOS
program to run in a DozyDosBox......
How can I acquire the programs I need?

Regards,
Dave Isaacs

Hi Dave,
Lightining is not needed with QPC1 (QPC1 runs SMSQ/E which is faster
than
the regular QDOS Driver - IIRC QPC1's driver is even faster as it is
written in pure x86 assembly - Correct me if I am wrong Marcel ;-) ).
Professional Astrologer runs fine and so do most of the DP programs if
you
don't use very deep pathnames. (just tested it on QPC 1 although It was
a
pain to find a machine to put it in ;-)
For good measure I can send you also soQL-PPP to grab your email using
QPC1

Turbo exists and it's in version 4.20 now and freeware as well

ALl the best,

Phoebus
