Hello,

Deleting /tmp on boot is a very common thing to do on any Unix/Linux system 
for many years. It s ordance with where /tmp exists for.
See also http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Filesystem_Hierarchy_Standard.

One can of course switch this action on or off or refine this behviour, but 
any prgrammer should be aware of the fact that files in /tmp may not survive a 
boot.
